Continuing Education Credit Co-Sponsorship Program is available to all Certified MSC teachers who wish to offer the CE credit when they teach an 8-week MSC, 5-day MSC Intensive, MSC Core Skills (2-day in person, 4-day online), 6-week SCHC, 6-week SC-MSC and 10-week LOMSC.
You may also enroll in our CE Co-sponsorship program to offer CEs for the 6-week SCHC and SC-MSC if you’re enrolled in the UCSD Mindfulness-Based Professional Training Institute MSC Certification Pathway and have a mentor.
Program Enrollment Fee: $200/year/organization
CE Fee: $30/participant ($15/participant for 6-week SCHC, 6-week SC-MSC)

Explain the difference between empathy and compassion and utilize strategies to avoid emotional exhaustion.

Demonstrate strategies they can use on the job to regulate difficult emotions while caring for others in pain.

Apply at least one skill from each session to help them regulate emotions and care for themselves emotionally while caring for others who are experiencing difficulty.
