Introduction
Welcome to our study, we are grateful for your participation. As you know, Dr. Linda Zangwill, Dr. Robert Weinreb, and Dr. Gordon Saxe are conducting a research study to find out more about how nutrition can improve visual function in open angle glaucoma (OAG) patients. This study will also investigate whether dietary changes influence the microbiome, or microorganisms in your gut and saliva, and whether these microorganisms may be associated with glaucoma.
