Support Our Work

The CIH Center for Mindfulness (CFM) was among the first university-based centers around the world devoted solely to the teaching and study of mindfulness. The Center has more than 20 instructors teaching courses to more than 500 participants per year. The CFM is a nationwide leader in training teachers of mindfulness-based interventions, and has been the incubator for several adaptations of mindfulness-based interventions for special populations. It also conducts and collaborates on research on the benefits of mindfulness and compassion training for kids, adults, educators, first responders and law enforcement professionals, cancer patients, people preparing for surgery, and more.

Donate

The CFM depends on grants and monetary donations to sustain our operations and expand our reach to new populations. Your donations make it possible for us to offer scholarships to individuals who might otherwise not get to benefit from our programming. Might you consider making a donation to help us support the mental and emotional health of our San Diego communities through mindfulness and compassion training? Your generosity makes all the difference!
