Creating The Conditions For A Mindful Year

Join the UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness (CFM) community for a daylong retreat in embarking on a rejuvenating journey at our Spring Renewal Retreat. We will do a half-day of silent mindfulness practices with periodic instruction by Shannon Jordan and Lisette Atala followed by a half-day workshop led by CFM Director Dr. Cassandra Vieten, dedicated to connecting with your inner resource, vitality and nurturing overall well-being.

Guaranteed Parking

With the registration, we are offering an additional choice of $15 guaranteed parking in the Pangea Parking Structure. This is guaranteed parking or you can choose these options listed below (parking on your own). No refunds will be given for the guaranteed parking 14 days prior to the start date of the retreat.

Parking On Your Own:

Visitor (V) Parking Rates (ParkMobile zone 4752)---all are marked with a letter on the ground near each parking spot

  • 30 minutes or less (no charge)
  • Each additional hour $4 (daily maximum $32)
  • After 5pm Weekdays and on Weekends $2/hr. (maximum $8)
  • Best to pay at the Pay Stations (usually near the entrance) sell Visitor (V) permits. Pay stations do not dispense change. Pay with any combination of the following:  Visa, MasterCard or American Express  OR Pay with ParkMobile — Pay for and extend parking sessions. We suggest paying at the machine---unless you have used ParkMobile before.

Scholarships and Student Discounts

We have established a scholarship policy to avoid turning away anyone with a genuine interest and motivation to participate, if the cost is the only thing preventing them from participating. If you have a genuine financial need, a limited number of scholarships are available. Please fill out this questionnaire by May 1, 2024.We will email if a scholarship is available.

Covid-19 Vaccination Compliance

Registrants who are attending in person are subject to UC San Diego requirements. You must comply with face covering policy and must provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result within the past 48 hours.

Cancellation Policy

A refund (minus $25 non-refundable deposit) will be made for cancellations submitted by emailing mindfulness@healthucsd.edu on or before 14 days prior to the start of the course. No refunds will be allowed after this date. Registration, deposits, and funds are non-transferable.

In the unlikely event that the course is cancelled, UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness is responsible only for a full refund of the registration fee and not for transportation, hotel accommodations or any miscellaneous expenses.

The refunds are processed in the same method as payment were submitted.
