Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) is an intensive training retreat version of an empirically-supported 8-week program designed to cultivate the skill of self-compassion. Based on groundbreaking research by Kristin Neff and integrated with the clinical perspective of Christopher Germer, MSC teaches core principles and practices that enable participants to respond to difficult emotions with kindness and understanding. Learn more about the MSC intensive.

Tentative Schedule

Day One (Monday)
Registration: 8:30 a.m. - 9 a.m.
Morning Session: 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Lunch: 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Afternoon Session: 2:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Day Two-Four (Tuesday-Thursday)
Morning Session: 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Afternoon Session: 2:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Day Five (Friday)
Morning Session: 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

  1. Registration fee does not include room and board charge. Participant must find lodging on own.

  2. Either a proof of vaccination or negative Covid test within 72 hours of arrival is required.

  3. Continuing education credits for participation in this program are available for an additional fee.

  4. Note: CFM requires a minimum of 10 registrants per program. Classes with fewer than 10 registrants will be cancelled and provided a refund. Please be aware of this when making arrangements to attend this program.
