Overview

Are you a UC San Diego student, faculty, or advisor? This collaborative program by the Center for Mindfulness and the Center for Empathy and Social Justice in Human Health aims to increase compassion in mentorship and a sense of belonging among students.

The Connected Leadership Training Program (CLTP) has been designed based on preliminary research that indicates that the primary factors that help students feel a sense of belonging in their program, and compassion from their mentors, is authenticity, genuineness, and connection.

Focusing on the strengthening of inner resources and the cultivation of authentic, interpersonal connection, the primary intended outcomes of the CLTP pilot are increased resilience, trust, compassion, and authentic connection among both mentor and mentee participants, as well as reduced loneliness, stress, and burnout.

If you are a UC San Diego student, faculty, or advisor, and you are interested in learning more about this program, please fill out the interest/registration form. More information can also be found on the Sanford Ambassador Hub website.
