Dealing With the Classic MBSR Week 8 Question: Will Your Butt Be On the Cushion Tomorrow?

Perhaps the number one question asked by participants in MBSR or MBCT groups is: "Where can I go to continue to practice in a group?" The question behind the question is "How will I sustain the momentum I have built up over the past 8 weeks and continue to formally practice mindfulness?" MBSR Mentorship

One-on-one mentorship (which can include web-based video conferencing for those not located near an approved mentor) is seen as a key component of development for new, as well as experienced, teachers of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, providing the intimacy of a close connection with a seasoned teacher as well as the venue for an open and honest exploration of challenges, breakthroughs, insights, and possibilities that inevitably arise in teaching the program.
