The UC San Diego Krupp Center for Integrative Research is committed to contributing to the growing body of scientific research in the field of integrative medicine and health. We sponsor innovative integrative medicine approaches that show the greatest promise of bettering human health for the largest number of people at the lowest cost.
Our Practice-Based Research network allows us to uniformly collect patient outcomes and health data across clinical services and disparate clinical sites. Our Center of Excellence for Research and Training in Integrative Health (CoERTIH) serves as the hub for research excellence and collaboration in integrative health within UC San Diego and across the greater San Diego region.
Our Krupp Endowed Fund supports an annual funding cycle based on the university fiscal year (July 1 - June 30). Typically, applications are reviewed in the spring and awards are allocated every new fiscal year. To be eligible to apply for a grant, an applicant must be a UC San Diego employee and a member of the KEF. Non-UC San Diego members may be co-investigators on KEF proposals.
