Conor John Cunningham is a LIGHT practitioner with a lifetime of experience and extensive training in a wide range of medical modalities. After graduating from High School in San Diego, Conor attended the University of California, Davis, to study Biochemistry, with aspirations of attending medical school. However, even at a young age, Conor could identify the insurance sector’s deleterious effect on the American medical system, as there was a profound shift from doctor-driven treatment decisions to cost-focused management during the 1990s.
Conor abandoned his plans to become a medical doctor and started his career as a fourth-generation firefighter/paramedic. He then transferred to Colombia College, where he received a BA in Human Services. After struggling with burnout and PTSD acquired as a first responder, Conor explored different areas of healthcare, struggling to find a role that would fulfill his desire to make profound, life-changing impacts on individuals’ health and wellness. These roles included home care, hospice, and medical laboratory work.
After working as a Medical Laboratory Technician, Conor secured a grant from the state of California to study stem cells at the Scripps Research Institute. This experience opened Conor’s eyes to the unlimited potential for change in anything biological. It would serve as a foundation for his quest to strive for care and treatment possibilities that others either can’t see or do not believe are possible.
After obtaining an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, Conor began working as a mental health clinician. He currently works with clients experiencing acute psychosis and has aspirations of using LIGHT therapy to address internal stimuli and hallucinations using the placebo effect and super-consciousness.
Conor is a San Diego native who does all stuff California dudes do. He is a follower of Christ, a musician, and a dad to a beautiful and talented special needs daughter. Conor has dedicated his life to relieving the suffering of others and is obsessed with improving current systems in his community and country. He is a firm advocate for the inclusion of non-allopathic medicine in current treatment models that do not deny the existence of the human mind, soul, or love.
