Ingredients
- 4 cups greens or cabbage, sliced thin
- 2 cups shredded or sliced thin root vegetables
- optional additions: raw or dry roasted nuts or seeds
- sea salt

- in a large bowl combine greens and root vegetables with a few pinches of sea salt
- massage together with hands until greens begin to shift to a brighter color, releasing moisture
- add any additional above ground vegetables, nuts or seeds, toss
